Klaus Cattle Co.'s Founding Story

The idea for Klaus Cattle Co., LLC came about on New Years of 2024. If you were to ask founder Kolten Klaus 6 months before the idea came about, he would have never imagined that he would own his own company. Though he never planned on owning such a business, he always knew that he wanted to be a business owner. He has always enjoyed cooking, trying new recipes, and creating new flavors while mixing different seasonings, but had never imagined bringing them to market. On New Year's Day, Kolten and his parents were discussing seasoning they had just used grilling that night and how there were so many fillers in the seasoning which affected the quality and taste of the seasoning. On that night kolten had a well why not moment and decided to and make his own seasoning line along with western apparel.

Behind the Brand

The official company name is Klaus Cattle Co., LLC. The KCC stands for Klaus Cattle Company. Kolten grew up on a small ranch, and with growing up in that environment, he wanted to incorporate a western feel into the brand. He named the company KCC to keep the cattle company's name. The cow pictured in our logo is a brahman. Kolten choose this as his family has always had a herd specifically of brahman and Kolten's first cow of personal herd started with a brahman cross.
